You can help but notice that '07 is shaping up to be the year of the comic book... again! With all the related movies, TV shows and cartoons, it seem like everyone is finally hip to the game! I, for one, am really

excited about the opportunities this should open up for NPC, and the comics industry as a whole.

However, we still have a long way to go, and I hope NPC can be a big part of that journey. It was great to see so many new creators at APE, from our neighbors, Hard Shell Slimy

Snail, to Entropy Comics, to folks who made their debut last year, like our boys over at P-Tip productions.

This amounts to a huge boom in business, but its not inflated by speculators, as it was in the late 90's. This is a genuine increase in interest! If you're reading this, then we need your

help to continue that trend! Make sure you give comics as gifts, take your friends with to on your next trip to your local comics shop, and don't forget Free Comic Book Day, on May 5th! Working together, the sky's the limit for our favorite form of entertainment! see you in the funny pages!
